our story
About Reece
Reece was a determined, fit and healthy young man who sadly lost his battle to a grade 4 Glioblastoma in 2014. Throughout his diagnosis and treatment, he fought to remain positive and fundraise to make difference to his life. When Reece deteriorated and realised that his prognosis was poor, he didn't lose hope. Instead, he used his remaining energy and passion to ensure his legacy lived on.
There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK, rising to 3.5 million by 2025, 4 million by 2030, and 5.3 million by 2040.
